Our platform will have to hoist heavy loads in and out of the water, so we wanted to make sure we have the equipment to do that safely.
We have a 2 tons hoist with a 15m chain, so it’s considered shallow waters, but that is enough for us for now.
Our original trolley was way too big for our “I” beam. Also not width adjustable.
Thankfully we had an old trolley laying around that seem to be just right for the job!
We swapped our trolley for another adjustable model and there we go!
Our new adjusted trolley fits tightly on the beam, feels just right!
I’m thinking to weld an above beam upside-down “U” shape bracket to 100% secure the beam.
