We got some bamboo delivered and brought it to the platform.
It's been requested that we add compression belts and bamboo to strengthen the structure before towing - so we're doing just that π
Thankfully the typhoon that we were expecting is now likely to hit Hong Kong this weekend- yet we are preparing for adverse weather - just in case.

We entirely cleared off the platform and traced the many required holes to insert compression belts.
We have also added
- Underwater towing rope all around the platform
- 4 inflatable fenders
- 1 inflatable ladder
- 2 life buoys with 100ft floating rope
Roping hardware
- 2 "O" rings
- 4 "U" rings
- 6 Cleats
We have 5 anchor ropes of 50m meter each now, ready to deploy.
It is not visually spectacular, but these are all important security features that will make towing safer even if the weather is on the rough side.
